Freshwater Farm Planning Approaches 

Client: Auckland Council 

Project Overview: Element Environmental worked in co-design with regional councils to conduct a strategic review of farm planning in New Zealand in the context of current council and industry farm planning initiatives as well as ongoing policy reform. 

Key Insights: Element Environmental helped provide Auckland Council with an understanding of other organisations’ perceptions of the challenges and opportunities presented by a new FW-FP framework as well as an understanding of the policy drivers that help to shape that framework.
